Het kan voorkomen dat na verloop van tijd in een EDGECAM file het aantal werkvlakken onoverzichtelijk lang is geworden met tijdelijke werkvlakken of automagisch gecorrigeerde werkvlakken (werkvlak-1.1 etc…).
Het is niet altijd gemakkelijk om handmatig deze allemaal te verwijderen, allereerst kost het tijd en ook is niet altijd direct duidelijk welke werkvlakken nu wel en welke werkvlakken nu niet gebruikt worden.
Onderstaande PCI-macro verwijderd automagisch alle werkvlakken die niet gebruikt zijn in het huidige bestand:
